How we work
Editorial standards
We sell confidence on a big night, and that only works if you can trust what we tell you. Here's how we research our concert-travel guides, keep them current, and stay genuinely independent.
Independent — and we mean it
World Gig Insider is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored byany venue, artist, promoter or ticket platform. Venue and event names are used descriptively so you can find what you need — never to imply a relationship. We say "the official O2 events page", not "our partner".
How we research
We build guidance from primary and official sources— the venue's own website, Transport for London, National Rail and the official event listing — plus on-the-ground local knowledge of North Greenwich and Wembley. We recommend areas and approaches with their trade-offs, not fabricated specifics: we won't invent a hotel, a price or a train time. Where we name a place, it's because it's genuinely useful.
Accuracy, dates and what to recheck
Live-event logistics change. So we:
- Date every guide and product with when it was last reviewed, so you know how current it is.
- Re-verify after major venue or transport changes and re-date the edition.
- Clearly label the details that move — train and last-service times, prices, opening hours, bag rules and event-specific instructions — and tell you to confirm them live.
Our principle: we tell you what to check; the official source tells you the current answer. Always check your ticket and the official event page before you travel.
Corrections
If something looks out of date or wrong, tell us — reader corrections feed the next update. Email [email protected] and we'll check it against the official source and fix it.
Affiliate disclosure
We do not currently use affiliate links, and we take no commission on anything we recommend. If we ever add them (for example on accommodation), they will be clearly disclosed on the page and will never change our recommendations — we suggest options on their merits, not on commission.
