So every perishable fact we publish — in these articles, in the guides we sell and in what we post — is listed below with the official source it came from and the date it was last confirmed against that source.

What this does and does not prove
It proves that the claim still appears on the official page we took it from, on the date shown. That is a real check, and it is more than most guides do — but it is a narrow one, and we would rather you knew its limits than trusted it too far.
- It does not make the source right. If a venue publishes the wrong price on its own website, we will faithfully match the wrong price.
- It is a text match, not comprehension. A page can technically still contain a phrase while the surrounding meaning has changed.
- Some sources cannot be read automatically. The O2's site refuses automated requests, so those facts are opened and read directly and what we track is the age of that reading. They are marked differently below, and we will not present them as though a machine confirmed them.
- Only perishable facts are listed. Things that do not change — a station being on one line, the direction a road runs — are not tracked here.
