Privacy Policy
This notice explains how World Gig Insider uses personal information when you visit the website, request a free download, contact support or buy a digital product.
Information we collect
- Email address and consent choices when you request email delivery.
- Order and delivery details supplied by the checkout provider.
- Support messages you send to us.
- Limited website analytics where analytics are enabled.
Why we use it
We use information to deliver requested downloads, fulfil purchases, answer support requests, keep business records and improve the website. Marketing emails are sent only where there is an appropriate lawful basis, such as your consent, and include an unsubscribe option.
Service providers
We use a small number of established providers to run the business, each processing only the information needed for its service and under its own data-protection terms:
- Payhip (with Stripe) — checkout, payment processing and digital delivery. Payhip acts as merchant of record and handles UK/EU VAT.
- Brevo — storing your email and consent choices and sending the requested checklist and any marketing emails you opt in to.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
- Plausible — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics that does not identify you personally.
Some providers are based outside the UK; where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and analytics
We keep tracking minimal. Where a privacy-friendly analytics tool such as Plausible is used, it does not set advertising cookies or identify you personally. If Google Analytics (GA4) is enabled it may set cookies; in that case a cookie notice and, where required, a consent step apply before non-essential cookies load. You can also block cookies in your browser.
Retention and your rights
We keep information only for as long as needed for delivery, support, legal and accounting purposes. Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to withdraw consent.
Contact
For privacy questions or rights requests, email [email protected]. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
