Getting there & where to stay for Wembley Stadium

Where to base yourself and how to move around Wembley Park on a concert night — chosen for the show, not a generic hotel list. Independent, and we tell you the trade-off on every option.

Getting around

Three stations, not one

Wembley Park (Jubilee & Metropolitan), Wembley Stadium (Chiltern to Marylebone) and Wembley Central (Bakerloo & Overground) all serve the area. Arrive at one and plan to leave from a different one to dodge the worst crowd.

Olympic Way

Wembley Park drops you onto Olympic Way, the wide ramp straight to the stadium — simple to follow, but it fills completely on the way out.

Give yourself buffer

On a sold-out night, security and the approach take longer than the map says. Add 30–45 minutes on top of your travel time.

Where to stay

Pick the area that matches your night. Prices and availability change fast around a big show — always check live before you book.

Walking back after the show

Wembley Park

You're on the doorstep — the London Designer Outlet, food and hotels are right by the venue, so you skip the travel scramble entirely.

Trade-off: Busiest area on an event night, and less to do the next day than central London.

0–10 min walk to the venue.

Sightseeing + an easy ride in

Marylebone / Baker Street

Central, plenty to do, and a direct line to the venue — Chiltern from Marylebone to Wembley Stadium, or the Jubilee/Met from Baker Street to Wembley Park.

Trade-off: Pricier than the suburbs; you rejoin the crowd at the station.

~15–20 min by train to the venue.

Keeping the cost down

Harrow / Wembley Central

Cheaper rooms a short hop away on the Bakerloo line and Overground, still close enough to walk in on a dry night.

Trade-off: Less atmosphere; check the last train back if you're out late.

One or two stops / ~25 min walk.

An early train onward the next day

Near Marylebone or Euston

If you're travelling on after the concert, basing near Marylebone (Chiltern) or Euston (West Coast) means a short walk to your morning train.

Trade-off: You trade being next to the venue for being next to your exit route.

Direct trains to the venue and out of London.

The journey home

Up to 90,000 people leave down Olympic Way at once. Decide your station before the encore, move early if you can't miss the last train, and keep a backup route saved offline.
