Parking at The O2 2026: prices, which car park, and the booking deadline

Read this before you decide to drive

The venue is currently warning that major roadworks in the surrounding area are significantly affecting traffic flow, with long delays at peak times and particularly after events. That warning is on their own parking page as of 18 August 2026.

If your reason for driving is a faster exit, that reason is weaker than usual right now. Driving still wins on luggage, on groups, and on awkward late connections — but treat the drive out as the hard part of the night and check whether the works are still in place before you travel.

Which car park: it is Car Park 1

For an event at the arena or at indigo, it is Car Park 1. Car parks 2, 3 and 4 are for Outlet Shopping and Cineworld, on hourly tariffs, not for event parking.

What it costs

Pre-booked event parking, as published on 18 August 2026: car early bird £29.39, standard car £35.28, minibus or coach £59.35. On the day, if space remains, a car is £40 and a minibus or coach is £65.

Valet parking is £75 pre-booked, or £85 booked on the day. It is available only for arena events, opens two hours before doors, and the car is brought back ready for when the show finishes.

Non-event parking in car parks 2 to 4 runs on an hourly ladder: 0-2h £7, 2-4h £11, 4-6h £15, 6-9h £17, 9-12h £18, 12-14h £22, 14-18h £28, 18-24h £52.

Prices and providers change. This is the kind of detail to confirm on the official page immediately before you pay, not from a screenshot taken at another show.

The booking deadline people miss

Pre-booking runs through JustPark, and it closes at midnight the day before the event. There is no booking window on the day itself — after midnight your only option is whatever pay-on-the-day space remains, first come, first served.

For an artist playing several nights, select the correct date in the booking flow. Multi-night runs are exactly where the wrong-date booking happens.

Two ways to pay less

Spend £35 or more at Outlet Shopping at The O2 and you currently get four hours of free parking — show your receipts at the Welcome Desk by the main entrance or at the Parking Office by Car Park 1. If you were arriving early to eat anyway, this can cover the pre-show window.

Early bird pre-booked parking is roughly £6 cheaper than standard and is limited. It is published until about three weeks before an event, so it rewards deciding early rather than on the week of the show.

Accessible parking and charging

Blue badge parking spaces are available in all of The O2's car parks. The badge holder needs to be in the car during the visit.

There are electric charging points on site. Availability is finite on a sold-out night, so do not build your journey home around being able to charge before you leave.

Before you leave the house

Note your car park and level. On a sold-out night, hunting for a car in a crowd costs more time than any exit tactic saves.

Decide your leave-by time before the encore, and remember the roadworks warning above. If the drive out looks bad, the Jubilee line is a few minutes' walk and runs to central London.
