Going to James Taylor at The O2 Arena?
23 JULY 2026 · North Greenwich, London
Plan the whole trip around the show — how to get there, when to arrive, where to eat, where to meet, and the journey home — so you arrive calm and leave without the stress.
Plan the trip around the show
The practical decisions that make or break a concert night at The O2 Arena — researched for this venue, not copied from another arena.
Getting there
North Greenwich is on the Jubilee line. To skip the crush, take the Uber Boat by Thames Clipper from North Greenwich Pier (right by the arena) or the IFS Cloud Cable Car.
When to arrive
Doors are usually about 90 minutes before the show. Arrive early — the Jubilee line and the plaza get busy fast on a sold-out night.
Eat before doors
Canary Wharf is one stop away with huge choice; Greenwich is a short hop the other way. Eat before the doors rush rather than queueing inside.
Meeting point
Never say 'outside' — the site is enormous. Name a specific spot in the Entertainment District and screenshot it, because signal drops when the crowd builds.
Journey home
Decide your exit before the encore. The river boat avoids the Tube crush entirely; if you take the Jubilee, check your last train and move early if you can't miss it.
Bags & rules
Bag rules change per event. Check the official event page for the current policy before you travel — don't rely on last year's rules.
Event details can change. Always check your ticket and the official O2 events page for the confirmed date, door times, bag policy and any event-day restrictions before you travel.
